What Type of Personality is Your Type?

Here’s a series of traits from something called the Enneagram. You can search through in attempts to find what type of personality fits you. I found some interesting things about myself. And hope to bring them up at a meeting of HSPs (Highly Sensitive Persons), one of whom suggested the sites to me.

(I found that I was mostly a “Giver,” followed by the personality trait of a “Mediator” and then something called the “Epicure.” Next, I saw bits of the “Romantic” in me, as well as the “Protector.” All were followed up by the last, but not the least of my traits, the “Performer.”)

What are you?

(To take the test, simply click the word “Enneagram” here or in the first sentence above. It will take you to the site. Have fun!)

“The Enneagram is a highly sophisticated system of nine personality profiles that are meant to help us know ourselves and others “as we/they are to themselves,” says an introduction to the site. “Each type profile serves as a customized road map for on-going personal growth consistent with categories of modern psychological typology.” The nine types are as follows:

1 The Perfectionist
2 The Giver
3 The Performer
4 The Tragic Romantic
5 The Observer
6 The Loyal Skeptic
7 The Epicure
8 The Protector
9 The Mediator
