Are We Being Guided by Forces Unknown to Us?

I believe that there are certain forces in the Universe that allow things to happen in my life that were not coincidences. They have arrived just as I was to decide on something as trivial kissing a girl for the first time as a kid and then getting married after being introduced by friends who seemed to be following directions to guide me.

Synchronicity is the term created by eminent Psychologist Carl G Jung when he determined by the law of probability that certain things were not being created through coincidences, but by a force stemming from what he called our “Collective Unconsciousness.”

Looking at events in my life has shown that I have been fortunate to recall them in detail and to offer them in a series of Blog posts over the next several weeks. There will be 14 chapters starting with that first kiss and the spiritual awakening that led me to immerse myself in studying different religions, Buddhist mantras and practices that helped to open both my eyes and my heart.

Angels Will Lead Us If We but Open to Them

Yes, I believe that Universal Divine Forces such as angels have accompanied me throughout my life. They appeared as friends, relatives and sometimes as people I really didn’t like that help us to decide to take a step forward or to stop and never them follow up.

While in first grade, I was chosen as an “angel” by a Roman Catholic nun to help escort second- graders for their first Holy Communion. Wearing a white cloak with a light blue vest, I stood at attention at the end of a pew in church. I then guided the students toward the front of the church where they kneeled in preparation for the priest to give them the white “waver.” I believe I was chosen to be a guide of sorts right then and there.

My next angel contact came during a dream more than 50 years later when I visualized the Greek Philosopher Socrates talking to his student Plato. I over heard him say he was writing a book about “Angels I have known and those I am knowing.” I believe he was talking about and to me and so I wrote my first Blog post for Contoveros.Wordpress.com.

Lorna Byrne Sees a “Large Angel” In Me

I was identified as an angel when Lorma Byrne, a woman from Ireland who has been seeing and talking to angels since she was two-years-old, commented at a presentation sponsored by the Center for Contemporary Mysticism. She said that she had noticed what she described as a “Big Angel” as she looked to the back of the church at an elevated section used by a choi r.

I was the only person viewing her from that section.

I believe that Divine forces can use individuals to serve as guides or angel-like creatures to help others. I have identified many in my life and I believe I may have helped others along their social and spiritual paths as well. I believe you could understand more how synchronicity affected me by viewing my next series of Blog posts.
