Got shut out of my Blog just now.

Can’t get in the front door because the public computer is restricting my entrance. It says that I have, among other things “Italian pornography” in, or on, my Blog, “Italian Pornography.” What the hell is that? 

I have difficulty speaking English, let alone understanding Porn in Italian. Is there a difference between”American”  and “Italian” Porn? Is it based on where it is produced? Like Hollywood versus Rome? Is it just the language, perhaps? Maybe it refers to the “stars” in the show. I don’t know. 

On top of that, I just got kicked out of the computer lab. Tonight is Wednesday, my night for “Introduction to Blogging.” I did not want to be late, so I left home early. I should have checked the starting time for the class. I got here an hour before the start. A computer teacher  at the Blair Christian Academy kindly permitted me to stay in her class if any of the students failed to show. Thanking her profusely, I opened my Blog only to see this rather frightening message. (See:Primary Source ) I could only imagine what anyone looking over my shoulder at that moment would possibly think. P E R V E R T  . . .The only reason a person would be denied access would be if he was a P E R V E R T . . . I wanted to duck  beneath the computer table, hide in a nearby closet or at least pull a coat over my head for cover. I mean, why else would  a person be “banned” from his Blog? Pornography. They spelled it in big, bold letters using  color combinations for all to see. They might as well  have put a sign on me saying: “Beware! This man pornos on the Internet.” How did it get to this, I wondered? It never happened while writing at my house.

The School. It had to be the school. Some administrator had keyed in a command to prevent harm to befall any of the students at this African-American Christian Academy in Germantown, PA. If certain pictures or words would appear, the computer would be programmed to automatically keep them out. 

I had no offensive pictures. So it had to have been the words. I cursed once, using the “F” word in connection with a war story I related. ( See: Dresden ) I did use a couple of “God damns” in another story.  Using God That had to have been it.

Uh oh. What about Greeneyes? My post was clean, but hers was quite erotic. Of wants and desires Or maybe it was one of the categories I used, like  “Sexy.”  I tried both “nude” and “naked”  but deleted them when I saw the company my story was to be forced to keep. Hustler Magazine had nothing on them.

Is Hustler still around? It just goes to show how unsophisticated I really am. don’t even know if that skin magazine still exists.

Let me reiterate my second complaint of the night. I was kicked out of the typing room. All 10 students showed up. The teacher apologized, but stuck to her resolve and I was asked to leave.(She must have seen my face turn red upon reading of my ban. The face lit up like the red light outside a French Whorehouse. Well, no, I have never been to France, let alone a French Whorehouse. That was just a figure of speech. No . . . I’m not talking about some woman’s figure . . . I just meant . . .) 

Well, here I sit. On a cold metal chair hidden near one of the building’s exits, writing this post by long-hand.  A draft sweeps in when the door opens. I glance up at every new visitor. Why do I think they’re all suspicious of me? I don’t look shady. I am not guilty of anything . . . I didn’t look at any porn. I swear I didn’t. Well, not today at least. What’s that? You say I have made  an “admission”with my last statement?

Curses! Just blog me against a post and force me to read one conservative right-wing article after another. That’ll cure porn-peeking any old day. 

(Note: Our Blogging teacher, who has written several years on financial issues, faced a similar ban on her Blogs. You could read the posts, but were not permitted to write, Don’t know why, but she was cited for “German” Pornography. Go figure.)
