Can I give a flower to a Buddhist?
To show the impermanence of beauty;
That all things change,
All follow the same path.
* * * *
From first bloom,
To last dying petal.
* * * *
I am like that flower.
I open to You.
Feel Your warmth and take nourishment by day,
Find refuge in Your cool, peace full sleep by night.
* * * *
I need nothing,
. . . . except Your Smile of Recognition.
I want nothing
. . . . except Your Tears of Forgiveness.
I love nothing,
. . . . except Your Service all of my Life.
