While attending the 10^th anniversary of the Center for Contemporary Mysticism, a mystical experience opened my eyes to so many spiritual possibilities.

The center, located at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, was created 10 years ago, shortly after the first speaker addressed some 600 people in the church proper.

Lorna Byrne, a young woman born and raised in Ireland, said she had been seeing and talking to angels since she was two years old. She told no one until she got older because she believed she would have been committed to an institution.

The Center was created a few weeks after her presentation when another speaker spoke about a near-death experience. Dozens of other visitors spoke to followers over the 10-year period and even broadcast their messages over Zoom when the Covid hit.

Ms. Byrne’s appearance was mentioned by the former pastor of the church yesterday and he told the anniversary group something that shook me to my bones.

Cliff Cutler said that Lorna looked out from what I called the sacristy of the church and saw a “huge angel in the balcony.” I was the only person at the balcony or what I had thought was a choir loft. There was no one else around me.

Or was there?

What did she actually see? Why am I only learning about this now? “Suspend your disbelief in angels,” she wrote in her book “Angels in My Hair, ” in an effort to persuade people to believe in angels and put them to work for us. “They’re underemployed” I remember her saying to us all those years ago.

Now I have the chance to renew my belief and look closer at my inner vision to see how this huge angel has affected me in life. I believe that it may have already started.

You see, I wrote a 10-page report about my spiritual life entitled: “Spiritual Journey of a Mystical Wanderer” and gave a copy of it to Cyndi Smith, a member of the Center and a bonafide medium who recently published a book about angels called “Gabriel’s Messages.” I asked her to review it and suggest a publisher that I could hire to share my life’s spiritual journey.

Could it be that synchronicity is at work once again?
