Sutta Nipata calls me to Omega Institute

 Will return to Omega Institute this week for a 5-day Retreat to meditate on PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) with veterans led by The Rev. Claude AnShin Thomas, an ordained Buddhist monk, and a Vietnam veteran. One thought I want to take is this suggestion from the Buddha, who  seemed to reach out to me from 2,400 years ago to deliver this message. It shows us how discover Heaven on Earth. I hope to seek it by taking the first step on this journey. By starting from within.

Omega Institute calls me to meditate

Let your love flow outward through the universe,

To its height, its depth, its broad extent,

A limitless love, without hatred or enmity.

Then, as you stand or walk,

Sit or lie down,

As long as you are awake,

Strive for this with a one-pointed mind;

Your life will bring heaven to earth
